HypnoBirthing® is a complete birth education programme, that teaches simple but specific self hypnosis, relaxation and breathing techniques for a better birth.
You'll learn how to release the fears and anxieties you may currently have about giving birth, and how to overcome previous traumatic births.
HypnoBirthing® can empower you to experience the joy of birth and show you that severe pain does not have to accompany labour.
Most importantly, you'll learn how to put yourself back in control of your birth - so that you can work in harmony with your doctor or midwife.
During labour you will not be be in a trance or asleep. Rather, you will be in good spirits - totally relaxed, but fully in control. You will always be aware of what is happening to you, and around you.
Your birthing companion plays a vital role in both in the classes and throughout your pregnancy right up to the birth. Ideally this would be your partner in life, but you could ask your sister, mother or close friend to be your birthing companion.
HypnoBirthing® is what every pregnant woman should know, bringing simplicity, clarity, calm and joy to your pregnancy and birthing.
Why is HypnoBirthing® so good?
Here are some of the things you'll learn that are not usually covered in antenatal classes

Benefits to your family
Instead of your partner being a helpless onlooker, they become a central part of the birthing process, helping you to stay calm and focussed on the techniques that you've learnt.
As a result, your partner feels proud to have been able to help, and to be an active part of the birth. This cannot help but make them feel closer to you and your new baby.
Does it help the baby too?
Yes. Babies born using HypnoBirthing® tend to be calmer, feed better, sleep better and experience less trauma, because they are gently and calmly breathed into the world at their own pace.
